Prabowo also expressed his appreciation for the strong friendship between Indonesia and the United States, which has been ongoing since the era of Indonesia's struggle for independence. The Head of State emphasized his government's commitment to continuously improving Indonesia-United States relations.
"The United States is a very good friend to us. The United States supported us in our struggle for independence and helped us many times when we needed it." Therefore, I will work hard to strengthen the Indonesia-United States relationship," said Prabowo.
On the other hand, Biden emphasized the importance of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Indonesia. He also emphasized that the partnership between the two countries is currently stronger than ever.
