Myanmar white elephant Rattha Nandaka joins 1st birthday anniversary

Nay Pyi Taw,July 25 (AseanAll)  —The first birthday anniversary of Myanmar white elephant Rattha Nandaka defined as the precious white elephant beloved by the country which will bring prosperity and happiness to the nation took place at the white elephant shed in the precinct of Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of July 23,2023.


According to Myanmar News Agency(MNA),   Myanmar Chairman of the State Administration Council 、 Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, SAC Vice-Chairman 、 Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe sprinkled scented water on the one-year old white elephant.


White elephant Rattha Nandaka paid homage to Uppatasanti Pagoda.

The Senior General and wife presented the birthday gift for the elephant to an official whereas the Vice-Senior General and wife fed Rattha Nandaka and his mother.

The white elephant released 10 white doves to mark his birthday as part of emergence of 10th elephant in the nation.


After the ceremony, the Senior General and wife performed the rituals of golden and silver showers for successful completion of the birthday ceremony and fed white elephants and their companian elephants in the white elephant shed.


The one-year old white elephant is three feet and 10 inches high with 670 pounds of weight, healthily and happily living at the Yadana white elephant shed in the precinct of Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw.
