Bangkok, April 1 (AseanAll) — On April 1, 2026, Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul delivered a message on occasion of the 2026 Thai Civil Service Day. On behalf of the Government, he extended his goodwilland encouragement to all civil servants, and congratulated those who received the Outstanding Civil Servant Awards for the year 2025.

According to the Prime Minister, the duties of those who bear the title of ‘civil servant’ are to ensure good quality of life and wellbeing of the people, support the people, and to advance the nation’s prosperity. Every civil servant must, therefore, recognize the value and dignity of their title, and uphold their conduct so as to gain trust, confidence, and respect of the people.
All civil servants play a vital role in the nation’s development and in translating the Government’s policies into concrete action for the benefit of the people. They must consistently develop themselves, both in terms of knowledge, capability, integrity and ethical conduct, and remained prepared at all times. They are urged to always prioritizethe interests of the people and the nation.
The Outstanding Civil Servant Awards honor civil servants whoseconduct is exemplary and whose achievement is evident. It also aims to uplift morale and encourage those who are dedicated, perseverant, selfless, and committed to ensuring effective delivery of public services. The Prime Minister called on all civil servants to uphold virtues which will be an honor to themselves, their families, and their organizations.
The Prime Minister called upon the blessings of the Triple Gem and all sacred powers, as well as the royal grace of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen, to bestow happiness, prosperity, and healthiness on all civil servants and the recipients of the Outstanding Civil Servant Awards 2025, along with their families. May they be blessed with physical and mental strength, advancement in their careers, and fulfillment in all their aspirations.
