Ramos-Horta welcomed the United Kingdom’s non-resident Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Dominic Jermey, for a highly productive diplomatic meeting to discuss the enduring partnership between the two nations.

Ambassador Jermey, who previously served in Timor-Leste during the nation-building period in 2000, praised the country’s progress especially for full membership of ASEAN. A central focus of the dialogue was the continued enhancement of Timor-Leste’s economy and human capital.
