(AseanAll) — On March 10, 2026,Ms. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the Iftar Reception to Commemorate the 42nd Anniversary of Brunei Darussalam’s National Day hosted by the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Japan.
KUNIMITSU delivered her remarks following the opening remarks by Mr. WAN HADFI Lutfan Bin Haji Abdul Latif, Ambassador-Designate of Brunei Darussalam to Japan.
In her remarks, KUNIMITSU stated that Japan and Brunei have built a strong relationship across a wide range of fields, grounded in many years of exchanges between the Imperial Family and the Brunei Royal Family as well as cooperation in the energy sector. KUMINITSU also expressed her desire to further develop the "Strategic Partnership" between the two countries.
