Indonesian President to pay an Official Visit to Japan

Tokyo, March 13 (AseanAll)  — From March 29 to March 31,2026, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia will pay an Official Visit to Japan, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

During his stay in Japan, the President will make a State Call on the Emperor of Japan, and  the Emperor will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President. Ms. TAKAICHI Sanae, Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a meeting with the President.

President Prabowo’s visit will be a great opportunity for the two countries to further strengthen the comprehensive and strategic partnership. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of President Prabowo.

This will be President Prabowo’s first official visit to Japan as the President of Indonesia. Previously, the President privately visited Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan in September 2025.
