On March 5, 2026, Zhang Jianwei, Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, attended the Thailand-China Investment Forum organized by the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI).

In his speech, Zhang Jianwei praised the comprehensive strategic cooperation between China and Thailand and expressed hope that Thailand would continue to create a stable and predictable business environment. He urged Chinese enterprises in Thailand to enhance regulatory compliance, adhere to the "Living in Thailand for Thailand"thought, strengthen cooperation in production and supply chains, achieve mutual benefits, and jointly write a new chapter of "China and Thailand are one family " in the new era.

Mr. Narut Teodsathirasak, Secretary-General of the Board of Investment (BOI) of Thailand, summarized the latest investment trends and developments of Chinese enterprises in Thailand, stating that there are extensive cooperation opportunities between China and Thailand in various industries such as new energy, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence. Thailand will continue to improve its investment policies, provide better services to enterprises investing in Thailand, and support the sustainable development of Chinese enterprises in Thailand.

 More than 800 people attended the forum, including representatives from the Thai Ministry of Commerce, the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, and Chinese enterprises in Thailand.
