Myanmar Foreign Minister receives Nicaraguan Ambassador to Myanmar

Nay Pyi Taw, March 6 (AseanAll)  — U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Segundo Martin Calero Escorcia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar,  on 5-3-2026 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, the Union Minister congratulated the Nicaraguan Ambassador on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. 

They cordially exchanged views on matters relating to the enhancement of existing bilateral relations between the two countries, including the reciprocal opening of embassies, the expansion of potential, mutually beneficial cooperation in tourism, agriculture, trade, and technology, as well as closer collaboration in international arenas.
