Thai Prime Minister Anutin and His Wife Visited the Chinese Embassy

Bangkok, February 25 (AseanAll)  —  On February 24, 2026, Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, accompanied by his wife Thanon Nirami, visited the Chinese Embassy at the invitation of Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Zhang Jianwei and his wife, Miao Haiyan. Ms. Supajee Suthamphan, Minister of Commerce, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, former Minister of Social Development and Human Security and others were also present.

Zhang Jianwei stated that China-Thailand relations have embarked on a new golden 50-year journey. China will implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state, strengthen the alignment of development strategies. China will work with Thailand to accelerate the China-Thailand railway project, encourage more high-tech enterprises to invest in Thailand, and welcome more high-quality Thai products to enter the Chinese market.

Anutin Charnvirakul stated that China's rapid purchase of high-quality agricultural products from Thailand, along with its investment in Thailand and promotion of tourism, fully demonstrates the special friendship of "Thailand and China are as close as one family." Thailand is willing to strengthen comprehensive strategic cooperation with China, further promote a China-Thailand community with a shared future, and jointly address external risks and challenges.
