U.S. Deputy Secretary of State meets with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet

Washington D.C., February 19 (AseanAll)  — U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on 19 February 2026 in Washington, D.C. on the margins of the Board of Peace meeting, according to U.S. Department of State.

Deputy Secretary Landau and Prime Minister Manet commended the growing U.S.-Cambodia bilateral partnership and discussed a range of topics, including the Cambodia-Thailand border, combatting online scam operations that target American citizens, defense and security cooperation, as well as trade and investment opportunities.  

Landau expressed appreciation for Prime Minister Manet’s decision to join the Board of Peace as a founding member and contribute to the international community’s efforts to promote peace in Gaza and elsewhere.
