Bangkok, February 17 (AseanAll) — On February 17, 2026，Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Zhang Jianwei and his wife Miao Haiyan attended the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the Thianfah Foundation Hospital.
Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the ceremony, and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul attended the event. Ambassador Zhang Jianwei presented Her Royal Highness with a Gansu Flying Horse sculpture, "a horse galloping on swallows," as a Chinese New Year gift, along with New Year's greetings for the Year of the Horse.
Ambassador Zhang also engaged in friendly conversation with the Prime Minister and representatives of the Thai-Chinese community attending the event, exchanging New Year's wishes. The atmosphere was joyful and warm.
