(AseanAll)  — On February 14th, 2026,The Chinese Consulate General in Penang held the presentation ceremony of the "Warm Spring Welcoming the Chinese New Year" care packages. Chinese Consul General in Penang Zhou Youbin presented the care packages to representatives of overseas Chinese, Chinese-invested enterprises, and Chinese students in the consular district, conveying the care and solicitude of the motherland.

Zhou Youbin extended Chinese New Year greetings to the representatives, reviewed China's major achievements in economic and social development in 2025 and the fruitful outcomes of China-Malaysia relations as well as local exchanges and cooperation, fully affirmed the contributions of the compatriots in the consular district to promoting bilateral friendship, and reminded everyone to abide by local laws, regulations and customs, present a good image of China, and continuously contribute to deepening China-Malaysia friendship. The Chinese Consulate General will, as always, uphold the principle of "diplomacy for the people" and serve as a warm haven for the compatriots in the consular district.
