Dili, February 12 (AseanAll)  — On February 11,2026, Chinese Ambassador to Timor-Leste Wang Wenli visited 11th Chinese Medical Team to Timor-Leste, extending Spring Festival greetings to all team members ahead of the festival. Counselor Mr. Zhao Suocheng attended the event.

At the team's residence, Ambassador Wang learned about the working and living situation, and conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to all team members.

Wang Wenli said that, medical and health cooperation is an important component of practical cooperation between the two countries. Since 2004, the Chinese medical team to Timor-Leste has creatively carried out medical assistance, effectively safeguarding the health of the Timorese people and the overseas Chinese community, and has received high praise and recognition from the Timorese government and society.

The Ambassador hoped that the Chinese medical team to Timor-Leste would continue to show the spirit of Chinese medical teams featuring tenacity, dedication, commitment to saving lives and love that knows no borders, fully utilize professional expertise and technical advantages, and make positive contributions to medical and health cooperation between the China and Timor-Leste.
