Chinese Embassy in Malaysia Hosts Launch of 2026 Spring Festival Care Package Distribution

Kuala Lumpur, February 5 (AseanAll)  — On February 4, Chinese Embassy in Malaysia hosted the launch of “Embracing the Chinese New Year” – 2026 Spring Festival Care Package Distribution, for which Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing attended and delivered remarks. Participants include representatives of Chinese compatriots, enterprises, and international students in Malaysia.

Ambassador Ouyang extended Spring Festival greetings to everyone, and looked back on the significant achievements of China’s development and fruitful outcomes of China-Malaysia cooperation in various fields over the past year. He thanked Chinese compatriots in Malaysia for their contributions to advancing the building of a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future. Ambassador Ouyang also said that the Embassy will, as always, carry out the concept of “diplomacy for the people” to provide warm and thorough services to compatriots.

The representatives shared that the Spring Festival Care Package made them truly feel the warmth and care of the motherland, and they will continue to contribute to the China-Malaysia friendship.

After the ceremony, Ouyang Yujing and entourage members paid a visit to Petaling Street, known as the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. They walked around local stores and celebrated the Chinese New Year with overseas and local Chinese, as well as Chinese tourists.
