Myanmar Deputy Foreign Minister receives a farewell call by Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar and hosts a farewell dinner

(AseanAll)  — U Ko Ko Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs received a farewell call by Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar  on 26 January 2026, at the Park Royal Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the farewell call, U Ko Ko Kyaw expressed appreciation to Mr. Mongkol Visitstump for his contribution in promoting bilateral relations and cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand. 

Moreover, they also reviewed the existing friendly ties between Myanmar and Thailand and discussed matters related to strengthening cooperation between the two foreign ministries as well as possible areas to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Then, the Deputy Minister hosted a farewell dinner for the Ambassador of Thailand.
