Thai Foreign Minister holds a bilateral meeting with Singaporean Foreign Minister during ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat

Cebu, January 28 (AseanAll)  — On 28 January 2026, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, on the sideline of ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Cebu, the Philippines.

The Ministers agreed that Thailand and Singapore should closely coordinate with a view to further strengthening ASEAN amidst global uncertainties.

They exchanged views on regional issues such as the post-election developments in Myanmar and Thailand-Cambodia border situation. Both sides also agreed to cooperate closely in enhancing regional efforts to combat online scams.
