Manila, January 29 (AseanAll) — On January 28, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Jing Quan met with Chief of the Philippine National Police PGEN Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

The two sides agreed to step up law enforcement cooperation between China and the Philippines to further combat transnational crimes and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens in the Philippines.
