Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister receives credentials of newly appointed United Nations Resident Coordinator to Cambodia

Phnom Penh, January 21 (AseanAll)  — On the afternoon of 21 January 2026,  Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call from Her Excellency Vladanka Andreeva, the newly appointed United Nations Resident Coordinator (UNRC) to Cambodia, on the occasion of her presentation of the Letter of Credence.

The Deputy Prime Minister warmly welcomed and congratulated Vladanka Andreeva on her appointment. 

Both sides exchanged views on the United Nations' longstanding contributions to Cambodia’s development and reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening Cambodia–UN cooperation in alignment with Cambodia’s national priorities.
