Jakarta, December 10 (AseanAll) — On December 10, 2025, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn presided over the Project Closing and Handover Ceremony for the 5-Year Implementation Roadmap – Enhancing Cybersecurity of ASEC’s IT and Network Infrastructure, funded through the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF), held at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat.
The event marks the conclusion of the ASEAN Secretariat’s cybersecurity project and embarks on a new chapter, one that demands urgency and resolves to strengthen the ASEAN Secretariat’s cybersecurity resilience.
The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Republic of Korea to ASEAN, Lee Jang-keun, Chargé d’Affaires of Thailand, Ms. Kemawadee Osathaphan, and members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) as well as staff members of the ASEAN Secretariat.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on December 9, 2025 hosted a reception for Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergey Shoigu, who is on a working visit to Viet Nam from December 8 to 10.
