Kuala Lumpur, December 7 (AseanAll) — On December 7, 2025, The Malaysia-China Friendship Run 2025, supported by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia and organised by the Malaysia-China Friendship Association (PPMC) and the Department of Youth and Sports, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (JBSWPKL), flagged off in Kuala Lumpur.

It was participated by Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing and PPMC President Dato' Abdul Majit bin Ahmad Khan, among other guests and close to 3,000 peoples of both countries.
After completing the 5km run, Ambassador Ouyang said that this year, Malaysia assumed the rotating chairmanship of ASEAN, and Chinese President Xi Jinping made a state visit to Malaysia again after 12 years. Bilateral exchanges at all levels have been frequent, with a slew of events vividly held, bringing China-Malaysia relations to their best period in history.

Ouyang said that Today's Friendship Run is the best symbol of the friendly exchanges and close cooperation between the two countries. Running has a starting line and a finishing line, but there will forever be no finishing line for the China-Malaysia friendship. With the joint efforts of friends from all walks of life in both countries, we will walk hand in hand towards a better tomorrow for the high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future.
