Vientiane, November 28 (AseanAll) — The 15th Meeting of the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) between Cambodia and the Lao PDR was held on November 27, 2025 in Vientiane, aiming to review ongoing cooperation and reaffirm both countries’ commitment to enhancing their partnership.

The meeting was co-chaired by PRAK Sokhonn, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Thongsavanh PHOMVIHANE, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao DPR.
In his opening remarks, PRAK Sokhonn highly valued the importance of the growing bilateral ties between Cambodia and Laos that are bound together by years of solidarity and close cooperation.
Both sides also reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen this vital partnership for mutual benefit.
The Meeting also reviewed the progress of the 14th JCBC Meeting between Cambodia and Lao PDR and explored new areas to further deepen and broaden the cooperation between both countries.
Towards the end of the Meeting, both sides attended the Signing Ceremony on the Agreed Minutes of the 15th JCBC Meeting.
