Governor of LEMHANNAS Calls on Singapore Defence Minister, Reaffirming Strong and Long-Standing Bilateral Defence Relations

(AseanAll)  — The Governor of the National Resilience Institute of Indonesia (LEMHANNAS) Dr Ace Hasan Syadzily called on Singapore Minister for Defence, Mr Chan Chun Sing on 25 November 2025.

During their meeting, Mr Chan and Governor Ace reaffirmed the strong and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Indonesia. Both sides also exchanged views on regional developments, and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Governor Ace was in Singapore from 24 to 25 November 2025 to lead the 11th LEMHANNAS Distinguished Graduands’ Visit (DGV). The DGV is an annual visit where the Ministry of Defence and Singapore Armed Forces host the top graduands of LEMHANNAS. The DGV aims to strengthen bilateral defence relations and people-to-people ties between both countries through regular exchanges.

Governor Ace’s visit underscores the strong ties between Singapore and Indonesia. These mutually beneficial interactions have deepened the bilateral defence relationship, and strengthened the trust between both defence establishments.
