Kuala Lumpur, October 26 (AseanAll) — On October 26, 2025, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn signed the ASEAN-FIFA Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FIFA President, Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino, on the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In a signing ceremony, ASEAN and FIFA renewed their partnership for the new ASEAN-FIFA MoU to promote football as a platform for education, inclusion, gender equality, and sustainable development.
The five-year partnership reaffirms both organisations’ shared commitment to advancing sports integrity, youth empowerment, and contributing to an inclusive and sustainable ASEAN Community.
