Phnom Penh, October 15(AseanAll) — On October 15, 2025, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn met with Dr. Soe Win, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement, Republic of the Union of Myanmar, on the sidelines of the 13th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) and the 14th Meeting of the Conference of Parties (COP) to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER), in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
They discussed ASEAN humanitarian assistance to Myanmar and ways to advance regional cooperation on disaster management and strengthen resilience to ensure no one is left behind.
