Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on July 24, 2025 met with Sun Weidong, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and SOM Leader for East Asian Cooperation of China, in Beijing.
The meeting served as an opportunity to exchange views on the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation in various areas, including the preparations for the upcoming 28th ASEAN-China Summit in October 2025.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments of common interest and concern.
