Bandar Seri Begawan, July 2 (AseanAll) — Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a farewell call from Ambra Dickie, High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei Darussalam on July 2, 2025. Also in attendance were the Chief of Staff RBAF and Director of Intelligence, Ministry of Defence.

During the call, the RBAF Commander expressed appreciation for the warm and long-standing relationship that exists between the Brunei Darussalam and Canada. Both sides reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining regional stability and security while exploring new avenues for collaboration in training, joint exercises, military visits, meetings and capacity building. 

The RBAF Commander also conveyed his gratitude and appreciation to Ambra Dickie for her contributions towards strengthening defence cooperation during her tenure as High Commissioner and wished her continued success.

Ambra Dickie has served as the High Commissioner of Canada in Brunei Darussalam for almost three years since August 2022.
