Myanmar Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister receives Ambassador of China to Myanmar

 (AseanAll) — U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, on 29 April 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw. 

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further consolidation of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations and implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, to commemorate (75) Anniversary of Diplomatic relations between the two countries, China’s provision of humanitarian assistance, medical aid and rescue teams to Myanmar for the affected families and communities, continued support for the Myanmar Government’s effort in the disaster rehabilitation and resettlement programmes in the affected areas in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake, the maintenance of peace and stability, law enforcement and security cooperation along the Myanmar-China border area, China’s continuous constructive support towards Myanmar’s development endeavor as well as closer collaboration both in regional and international arena.
