(AseanAll)  — The online travel platform Agoda published a ranking of affordable destinations and Hue rose to the top in Vietnam.

According to Thanh Nien Newspaper, on April 10, the online travel platform Agoda shared the destinations with the lowest average room prices in April and May.  Accordingly, the ancient capital of Hue is where tourists can enjoy the most competitive room prices in Vietnam.  Specifically, Hue is an affordable destination with an average room price of 4 USD (about 5 million VND).  The ancient capital of Hue has usurped Ninh Binh - the place that topped the rankings last year.

Average room prices in April and May are based on booking data on Agoda from March 4 to 5:

1.  Udon Thani, Thailand: Average room price 28 USD (about 694.000 VND)

2.  Surabaya, Indonesia: Average room price 39 USD (about 967.000 VND)

3.  Hue, Vietnam: Average room price 43 USD (about 1.066.000 VND)

4.  Kuching, Malaysia: Average room price 49 USD (about 1.215.000 VND)

5.  Iloilo, Philippines: Average room price 50 USD (about 1.240.000 VND)

6.  Bengaluru, India: Average room price 55 USD (about 1.363.000 VND)
