(AseanAll)  — On 8 August 2024, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to ASEAN, U Aung Myo Myint attended the 57th ASEAN Day Celebration at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

The event was officiated and attended by Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Retno L.P. Marsudi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, Ambassadors of ASEAN External Partners as well as the representatives from ASEAN Entities and invited guests. 

Secretary General of ASEAN and Foreign Ministers of Indonesia and Lao PDR delivered remarks. 

In the afternoon, Aung Myo Myint, alongside the distinguished guests, explored the Traditional Food Festival organized by the ASEAN Women Circle with the contribution of respective countries in an observance of the 57th ASEAN Day at the ASEAN Secretariat. 

The Permanent Mission of Myanmar also joined the Food Festival and served Myanmar traditional foods and drinks.
