Cambodian Prime Minister' s Assistant Visits Shaolin Temple

Zhengzhou, February 14 (AseanAll) — A deputation led by general Bo Shanglang, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen' s assistant and deputy commander of the Guard, visited Shaolin Temple and gladly communicated with abbot Shi Yongxin on the morning of February 12, 2023.



According to the official website of Shaolin Temple,General Bo Shanglang introduced Cambodia’ s society, economy and the state of Buddhist circles at the Abbot Hall. He expressed Cambodia’ s society and economy develops rapidly in recent years and city appearance is absolutely different than before. He sincerely invited abbot Shi Yongxin leading his team to Cambodia for exchange and visit.


 

Abbot Shi Yongxin recalled various exchange activities between Shaolin Temple and Cambodia, and also explained Shaolin Temple’ s construction, charitable education, cultural exchanges as well as achievements which have been gained. 



General Bo Shanglang highly recognized and admired Shaolin Sangha’ s contribution in benefiting sentient beings, cultural exchanges and so on.



Then the delegation led by general Bo Shanglang earnestly visited the temple buildings, cultural relics and also watched Shaolin Kungfu performances, taking group photos with Shaolin Kungfu monks joyfully.




According to ASEANALL, Shaolin Temple, located in Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan Province, is a world-famous Buddhist temple. Shaolin Temple is not only the birthplace of Zen, but also the birthplace of Chinese kung Fu. Shaolin kung Fu is famous in the world, known as "the world kung Fu out of Shaolin, Shaolin kung Fu is the best in the world".  Now Shaolin Temple has Shaolin cultural centers in many parts of the world.
