Myanmar Ambassador to Brazil discusses bilateral cooperation with FUNAG Chairman

Nay Pyi Taw, March 22 (AseanAll)  — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Myanmar announced that U Aung Kyaw Zan, Myanmar’s Ambassador to Brazil, held discussions with Marcia Loureiro, Chairman of Fundação Alexandre de Gusmão (FUNAG) of Brazil, regarding the extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) and FUNAG, and exploring potential areas for bilateral cooperation.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil on March 19,2024

During the meeting, they discussed the effective implementation of the foreign policies of both countries, organizing joint seminars and paper-reading sessions, and the compilation and publication of research papers.

FUNAG, established in 1971, plays a crucial role in implementing Brazil’s foreign policy.
