Cambodian PM Meets Grab’s CEO in Davos

Davos, January 17 (AseanAll)  — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet met with Grab’s CEO Mr. Anthony Tan during his stay in Davos, Switzerland on January 16, 2024.

In the courtesy meeting, Mr. Anthony Tan said Grab is committed to encouraging businesses to use the Grab digital platform as a good model in terms of traffic law respect, safety and comfort. 


Mr. Anthony Tan briefed the Cambodian Premier on Grab’s background since it was established in 2012, adding that Grab is also present in Southeast Asia such as Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.


For his part, Hun Manet expressed thanks to Grab for its investment in Cambodia’s transport sector. Grab's business model has contributed significantly to attracting and gathering informal operators, particularly in the field of transport, on the Grab digital platform, he underlined.
