Bandar Seri Begawan , August 1 (AseanAll) — Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will hold a State Visit to Malaysia on the 3rd of August 2023,according to the Prime Minister's Office of Brunei.

The State Visit of the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia is at the invitation of the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
During the State Visit, the Sultan among other things, is expected to meet with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia; and Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia for the 24th Annual Leaders' Consultation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia.
Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia established diplomatic relations in January 1984, enjoying warm and close cooperation in various areas of mutual interest including trade and investment, defence, education, tourism and connectivity as well as health.
The previous Annual Leaders' Consultation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia was held on the 5th of April 2021 in Bandar Seri Begawan.
