Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister holds bilateral meeting with U.S. Secretary of State in Manila

Manila,July 23 (AseanAll)   On 23 July 2026,  Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Marco Antonio Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State, on the sidelines of the 59th AMM/PMC in Manila, the Philippines.

Both sides reaffirmed the longstanding Thai - U.S. alliance and commitment to further strengthening cooperation in all areas, ranging from defense and security, especially on combating online scams, to enhancing economic partnership for the mutual benefit of both countries and peoples, including towards the prompt conclusion of trade negotiations.

They also exchanged views on regional situations, including the Thailand - Cambodia situation and the situation in Myanmar.
