Bangkok, February 13 (AseanAll) — On February 13, 2026, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul chaired a meeting with economic ministers and executives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Participating in the meeting were Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow, and Minister of Commerce Suphajee Suthumpun.
The Prime Minister thanked the 3 ministers for their active collaboration. He commended their commitment to create new dimensions of hope for the Thai people and helped put “Thailand back on the world’s radar.” The Prime Minister emphasized that this agenda must not be temporary. Thailand must continue to draw international attention and respect.
He also praised Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its significant contributions in reinforcing international relations, negotiating, maintaining the country’s status, and boosting international confidence. The most important and meaningful achievement is the unprecedented trust gained from the Thai people.
According to the Prime Minister, being a majority Government and having an opportunity to work for a 4-year term will help establish the momentum in strengthening and driving forward the country. The Quick Big Win policies, implemented during the past 4 months, must be built upon. With its potential, opportunities, and pathways amid current geopolitical challenges, Thailand needs to set the new goals and becomes one of the world’s tigers and the hub of ASEAN, the center for global supply chains.
On this occasion, Permanent Secretary to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand reported on the Ministry’s recent mission in organizing overseas voting, which was conducted smoothly and effectively. With Thailand’s political stability, he expressed confidence that international trust in the country will grow further. The Ministry stands ready to continue advancing both diplomatic relations and economic diplomacy to ensure Thailand’s balanced role on the global stage.
