(AseanAll) — Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on 29 January 2026 held a bilateral Meeting with Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines on Cebu island.
Following their previous meeting in Malaysia in late December 2025, the two foreign Ministers exchanged warm regards and explored various initiatives to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
The two foreign ministers demonstrated warmth, intimacy, and a strong spirit of solidarity as ASEAN family, thereby contributing to regional peace and stability.
PRAK Sokhonn extended his warm congratulations to Theresa P. Lazaro for her ASEAN Chairmanship this year. He expressed his firm belief that her rich experience and diplomatic skills will be instrumental in addressing complex and challenging regional and global issues.
