Jakarta, February 5 (AseanAll) — Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Economic Community, Satvinder Singh, met with Ms. Patricia de Lille, Minister of Tourism of the Republic of South Africa, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat on 5 February 2026.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on strengthening ASEAN–South Africa tourism cooperation under the ASEAN–South Africa Sectoral Dialogue Partnership, including opportunities to enhance two-way tourism flows, promote sustainable and quality tourism, and explore potential areas for future collaboration in line with ASEAN’s tourism priorities.
