Jakarta, February 3 (AseanAll) — Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on February 3, 2026 received a courtesy call from Ambassador Takio Yamada, Ambassador for the Promotion of the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) and Special Assistant to the Foreign Minister of Japan, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat.
The meeting exchanged views on ASEAN–Japan cooperation, with a focus on energy transition and regional sustainability initiatives.
