Yangon, January 31 (AseanAll)  — On January 30th,2026, the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar held the 2026 “Embracing the Chinese New Year” Spring Festival Package Distribution Ceremony. 

Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ma Jia attended the event and delivered remarks. More than 70 people, including leading figures of the Chinese community in Myanmar, representatives of Chinese-invested enterprises and local chambers of commerce, Chinese students, and media representatives, gathered to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse.

Ma Jia presented the participants with Spring Festival packages full of warmth and care, sending blessings to Chinese compatriots in Myanmar. After reviewing the achievements in the development of bilateral relations between China and Myanmar, she encouraged everyone to take ownership and actively engage in implementing the “15th Five-Year Plan,” contributing to greater progress in building a China-Myanmar community with a shared future.

The event was filled with a warm and lively atmosphere. Participants expressed their gratitude for the care and greetings from their homeland and the embassy, and pledged to continue serving as a bridge, contributing to the development of China-Myanmar relations.

The 2026 Spring Festival packages full of warmth and care were carefully prepared by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, and the Chongqing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. These packages conveyed the heartfelt care and warmth of the homeland to overseas Chinese.
