Malaysia-China Cultural Exchange Night 2026 Held in Seremban

Seremban, January 16 (AseanAll)  — On January 14, 2026,The Malaysia-China Cultural Exchange Night 2026 has been held in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan,Malaysia. 

Present were Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing; Minister of Transport of Malaysia, Anthony Loke Siew Fook; Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council (EXCO), Teo Kok Seong, along with representatives of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (DUN), local communities, schools, and the media, among over 2,000 guests.

In his speech, Ambassador Ouyang stated that Chinese President Xi Jinping successfully made a state visit to Malaysia in April last year, during which both sides agreed to strengthen the China-Malaysia people-to-people bond and deepen cultural exchanges.

“As an important consensus reached by both countries’ leaders, people-to-people exchanges serve as inexhaustible source of traditional friendship, a bridge for people-to-people ties, and a reliable guarantee for economic and trade cooperation.”

He hopes that the peoples of both countries will work together to continuously enhance friendship and deepen mutual trust, so as to contribute to propelling China-Malaysia relations into the next "golden 50 years".

Minister Anthony Loke said that with the implementation of the mutual visa exemption policy between Malaysia and China, as well as the increase in direct flights and other favourable conditions, he looks forward to more mutual visits and exchanges between the two countries’ peoples, along with closer ties and friendship.
