Vientiane, July 18 (AseanAll) — On July 15, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone received a courtesy visit from Mrs. Chea Leang, Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of Cambodia, and her delegation, who are paying an official visit to the Lao PDR from July 14 to 18,2025,according to Lao News Agency KPL.
On this occasion, Sonexay warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his high appreciation for the visit, noting that it marked a positive and significant step in further strengthening the longstanding friendship, solidarity, and fruitful cooperation between the two nations—Laos and Cambodia.
The Cambodian Prosecutor General expressed her gratitude to Sonexay for the warm hospitality and shared with him the objectives and activities of her delegation’s working visit in the Lao PDR.
Cooperation between the Supreme Prosecutor's Offices of the two countries has steadily advanced in recent years, particularly through high-level exchange visits and the sharing of experiences, contributing to the development of prosecutorial work in both neighbouring countries.
