Nay Pyi Taw, July 5 (AseanAll) — The second China-Myanmar-Thailand Ministerial Meeting on Combatting Transnational Crime was held on 4 July,2025 in Nay Pyi Taw,according to Myanmar News Agency.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from relevant ministries, led by Myanmar Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen Aung Kyaw Kyaw. Also in attendance were senior officials from the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, led by Assistant Minister Mr Liu Zhong Yi, and senior officials from Thailand, led by Mr Dusit Manapan, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
The participants held friendly discussions on security and law enforcement cooperation among China, Myanmar, and Thailand.
They also discussed joint efforts to combat online scams and online gambling under relevant laws.
