Bangkok, June 18 (AseanAll)  — On June 17, 2025, at Thai Government House, following the weekly cabinet meeting, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra gave an interview on the Government’s readiness to help Thai nationals who are affected by the Iran-Israel attacks.

The Prime Minister has instructed Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Labor to follow up on the situation 24/7 through the embassies of both countries in Bangkok even before the attacks.

Today, the military, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labor, and the Thai embassy in Israel have worked closely together to prepare for the evacuation of Thai nationals. Labor assistance center was established as a liaison office and is opened for the registration of approx. 40,000 Thai workers in Israel. The Royal Thai Air Forces have already had their fleets standby, while other relevant agencies are now prepared for a timely and full-scale evacuation once everything is ready. 

The Prime Minister was also informed that the U.S. and China have already evacuated their citizens.
