Myanmar Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister receives Ambassador of China to Myanmar

Nay Pyi Taw, June 11 (AseanAll)  — U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, on 6 June 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Nay Pyi Taw. 

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further consolidation of the existing Pauk Phaw relations and expansion of cooperation between Myanmar and China, continued implementation of Myanmar-China bilateral projects with momentum, China’s provision of humanitarian assistance, medical facility and rescue teams to Myanmar for the affected families and communities in the aftermath of the devastating Mandalay earthquake as well as the continued support of China for the Myanmar Government’s effort in the disaster rehabilitation and resettlement programmes in the affected areas.
