Residents of Phu Cat District in Binh Dinh Province, south-central Vietnam on July 2, 2023 spotted two whales in the waters near De Gi Beach, around one kilometer away from the shore.
On December 7, 2024, the Chinese Foreign Ministry released a short video on social media entitled "What Cannot Kill You Will Only Make You Stronger!" . This video is suspected to be a response to the United States' recent technology blockade and sanctions against China.
