(AseanAll)  — The Thai government has approved a visa exemption scheme for the holders of Japanese passports who make business trips to Thailand, allowing them to stay in the Kingdom for a period not exceeding 30 days, according to the Public Relations Department of Thailand.

The visa exemption will come into force from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2026.

This temporary arrangement aims to boost trade and investment, as well as promoting business activities between the countries.
