Maldives President confers recognition awards for strengthening Maldives–Singapore relations

Singapore, July 1 (AseanAll) — Maldives President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conferred recognition awards to honour and acknowledge individuals and organisations for their exceptional contributions in strengthening the partnership and cooperation between the Maldives and Singapore.

The awards were presented on the morning of July 1, 2025 at the Maldives–Singapore Business Forum 2025, held in Singapore.

The honours also recognise the vital role these recipients have played in supporting the Maldives’ broader development and progress. Seventeen individuals were recognised for their longstanding contributions, including notable figures from both the Maldives and Singapore. In addition, twenty companies were awarded for their efforts in enhancing economic ties and advancing investments between the two nations.
