Bangkok, May 29 (AseanAll) — On May 28, 2025,  Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra disclosed about border tension and a gunfight between Thai and Cambodian soldiers at the area of Chong Bok border pass in Ubon Ratchathani province that she was reported and had a talk with the Cambodian Prime Minister on the situation. 

Thai Ministry of Defense, through Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, will also hold talk with the Cambodian counterpart to settle the matter the soonest. 

Paetongtarn affirmed that her relations with the Cambodian Prime Minister remain cordial.
