Jakarta,December 1 (AseanAll) — At the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will conduct a Working Visit to Malaysia, on 2-4 December 2024, to discuss preparations for Malaysia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025.
During the visit, Dr. Kao will pay a courtesy call on YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, to discuss key priorities and deliverables under Malaysia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025 under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability.”
Dr. Kao is also scheduled to meet with Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia; Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia; YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia; and YBhg. Dato’ Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi, Auditor General of Malaysia, as part of the Working Visit to provide full support for Malaysia’s preparations for its role as the ASEAN Chair in 2025.
