New Delhi, July 12 (AseanAll) — On 12 July 2024, Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers, paid a joint call on Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, after the Second BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in New Delhi,India.
On this occasion, all parties discussed ways to enhance and strengthen regional cooperation in the areas of mutual interests and benefits, including under BIMSTEC cooperation framework.
The Prime Minister of India conveyed full support to Thailand for a successful BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok in September this year.
Singapore has been invited by the Republic of South Africa as a guest country to participate in G20 meetings under its 2025 G20 Presidency.
